Dr. Shelby Johnson earned her doctorate of veterinary medicine from Oregon State University in 2015. Additionally, she received her certification in veterinary medical acupuncture in 2014 from CuraCore, and canine rehabilitation in 2022 from Canine Rehabilitation Institute. Her passion for rehabilitation therapy began when her best friend’s dog, Lola, was diagnosed with hip dysplasia at the age of two. Over nine years later Lola is happy, healthy, and pain free thanks to years of rehabilitation to help her maintain function and delay the onset of osteoarthritis. Rehabilitation medicine is an extremely rewarding and fulfilling component of being a veterinarian.
