Pet Lodge in Sandpoint Area

IMPORTANT: PLEASE REVIEW OUR VACCINATION POLICY BEFORE BOARDING YOUR PET.

Located in Ponderay, minutes away from Sandpoint, Idaho, our pet boarding facility offers a fun, safe, and loving “home away from home” for your pet, because “Your pet is our family”.  We board dogs and cats regardless of age, condition, breed or temperament.  Should a health issue arise while you are away, our veterinary-supervised boarding staff will address the issue immediately and one of our veterinarians from our on-site veterinary hospital will keep you informed along the way.

Our pet boarding facility offers spacious, clean and safe accommodations for day boarding or overnight boarding.  Like you, our greatest concern is the well-being of your pet.  To ensure the health of your pet and the other pets in our care, we require proof of veterinarian administered vaccines.  For our canine guests, we require that they be current on RABIES, DHPP and BORDETELLA vaccinations (Bordetella must be administered every 6 months).  For our feline guests, we require that they be current on RABIES, FELV and PFVRC-C vaccinations.
Vaccinations should be up to date a minimum of two weeks prior to any boarding stay.
Contact our staff for more detailed information.

Here is what is included with your pet’s stay:

Accommodations – For canines, each guest has a private bedroom that is used for sleeping time, meal time and relaxing when your dog is not outside during one of our four let outs per day.  For felines, each guest has a private condo that is used for sleeping time, meal time and relaxing throughout the day.

Play Time / Customized Attention – Your dog will enjoy mid-day play time with one of our staff members, or they can take a leashed walk around our grassy grounds.  Does your dog enjoy playing with other dogs?  Sign them up for our supervised dog playgroups offered with all boarding stays.  Do you have a highly active pet? Additional activities can be arranged. We now have Kong Time, Puzzle Time, Go Fetch, Obstacle Course and Snacks and Snuggles. Call to find out more. Our cat guests are given the freedom every day to stretch their legs and play in our cattery with one of our staff members.

Meal Time / Special Diets – For our overnight guests we can feed our kennel food, Sensitive Stomach from Science Diet, or we can feed your pet their own food, to keep them on a diet they are used to.  Day boarding pets are welcome to bring their own food and we can feed while they day board.  Let us know if your pet has special feeding instructions or likes to have a lunch meal and we can accommodate your pet’s needs.

Nap Time – Nap time is from 12:30-1:30 everyday. Nap time allows our guests to have a quite and calm time in the middle of the day to relax and refresh.

Supplements / Medications – We can administer most supplements and medications at no additional charge.  Injectable medication and/or some extensive medications may require medical boarding at our veterinary hospital. Please bring your pets medications/ supplements in their original bottles. Please call us at 208-255-7687 if you have questions.

We offer discounts for shared kennel multi-pet accommodations and for stays 10 days or more.  Heading out of town for an extended amount of time?  Contact us about our long-term pet boarding.

In addition to our pet boarding services, take advantage of our many other services we have to offer!  Our retail space includes full lines of Hill’s Science Diet, as well as a wide assortment of pet toys and treats.  We can coordinate grooming appointments for your dogs or cats during their stay and have them fresh and clean when you arrive to pick them up.  You can also schedule any of your pet’s medical services needed at our adjacent veterinary hospital.  Need help with training your dog?  We have onsite certified trainers who are available to help.  Just let us know what your pet’s needs are and we will take care of the rest!
